Your First Love

"I know your deeds, your hard work and your perseverance. I know that you cannot tolerate wicked men, that you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them false. You have persevered and have endured hardships for my name, and have not grown weary. Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken your first love." (Rev 2:2-4)

Do you remember those days when you used to feel all alone and with all that was in your heart you used to cry out for worship and relationship with the Lord?
Remember when you used to be a little shy about sharing your faith with people at work or at home but in your room you used to lay it all under His feet?
Remember when God was your newly found friend and father and you used to spend hours in prayer, seeking His presence?
Remember when your heart used to undergo tension and new words come out of your mouth with tears of thanksgiving?
Remember when Jesus was like the perfect rose someone had offered you?
Remember when you used to be extra careful not to lose that intimacy with the Lord even when you had to act weird in front of people?
Remember the first time you played a worship tune in your room and extended your arms and vowed to serve Him all your life?
Remember when waking up in the morning felt like waking up in a hotel room in a foreign country and feeling His presence was as exciting as discovering life on another planet?
Remember when telling Him "I love you" was not an easy step to take?
Remember the first time He told you He loves you and you got on your knees face down?
Do you remember?
