Thirsty for Revival

Sunday is Pentecost and I’m thirsty for revival. I’m thirsty to see lives change, men and women discovering the power of God within. It’s time for commitment and complete surrender.

We lay our lives down as our Master did. We trade in our human weakness for a double portion of the fresh anointing. We need holy fire. We need You, Lord! Come and change us. Wash away our hurt, our despair, our discontent, our rebellion, our pride, hurts and tears. We are in need of your joy and strength. We are here to trade in our ashes for beauty.

We repent of our selfish ways, our corrupt ways. We have our eyes fixed on You now. Father of grace and mercy, pour down your Spirit like never before. We want to see your glory!

Shake our world with your holy presence. Shake the dust off. Shake the wickedness off. Let your light shine in those who cry out your name.

“Give to the LORD the glory due His name;
Bring an offering, and come before Him.
Oh, worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness!
Tremble before Him, all the earth.
The world also is firmly established,
It shall not be moved.
Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad;
And let them say among the nations, “The LORD reigns.”
Let the sea roar, and all its fullness;
Let the field rejoice, and all that is in it.
Then the trees of the woods shall rejoice before the LORD,
For He is coming to judge the earth.
Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good!
For His mercy endures forever.”

– King David (1 Ch 16:29-34)
