Let Your Glory Shine!
The knowledge of God cannot be attained by study,
research or experimentation.
The knowledge of God is attained through a sweet
and painful relationship with God, a relationship of death to self, desperate
seeking and violent faith.
"If you call out for insight and cry aloud for
understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for
hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the
knowledge of God." (Proverbs 2:3-5)
The knowledge of God is a fruit of our love towards
God, a fruit of intimacy and fiery passion.
"Many waters cannot quench love; rivers cannot
sweep it away. If one were to give all the wealth of one’s house for love, it
would be utterly scorned." (Song of Solomon 8:7)
God is here. He is around us. He is waiting for His
loved ones to turn their gaze towards him in belief and expectation.
Our constant search for the knowledge of God will
make us sensitive and aware of His presence and glory.
"For our light affliction, which is but for a
moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of
glory" (2 Corinthians 4:17)
"For it is the God who commanded light to
shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the
knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ." (2 Corinthians
4:6)
"It is the glory of God to conceal a matter,
But the glory of kings is to search out a matter." (Proverbs 25:2)
It is time to step into your glory and search out
the hidden treasures of God in the unseen.
Lord, let your glory shine!
"The city had no need of the sun or of the
moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its
light." (Revelations 21:23)
