God Elevates

"The Spirit lifted me up between earth and heaven and in visions of God he took me to Jerusalem" (Ezekiel 8:3)
God is busy. He is busy in our lives. He is busy in the Church. He is at work, elevating His people through the Holy Spirit.
"He who has begun a good work in you will complete it" (Phil 1:6)
Walking with God has this sensational truth that comes with the whole package: constant elevation. This happens in all areas of our lives. Whether it's in the physical, moral, spiritual, financial, educational, professional, God keeps on elevating His people.
This is evident in the Bible in so many stories. To mention just a few, Joseph was elevated from prisoner to prince of Egypt and Philip from cook to evangelist.
When God talks about His kingdom not being of this world (John 18:36), He had in mind to make that truth a reality on earth through the Church. Therefore, the riches we enjoy, the morals and virtues we carry, the standard of living the Church is elevated to is far beyond what this worldly culture has to offer.
“Most assuredly, I say to you, hereafter you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man.” (John 1:51)
This was a prophecy given originally to Jacob by God (of Bethel) related to the Messiah and His church, the testimony of Jesus being the Son of God, the Rock upon which Jesus claimed that He will build His Church:
"And he took one of the stones of that place and put it at his head, and he lay down in that place to sleep.  Then he dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth, and its top reached to heaven, and there the angels of God were ascending and descending on it." (Gen 28:11-12)
God is at work. Heaven is at work. Jesus ascended to the right side of the Father to send His Holy Spirit to minister to us and through us.
God is not interested in individuals, but rather in communities. As individuals, we are lifted up when we find our place in the local church. God has a plan and His plan involves an invasion. God will invade the earth through a new culture, a new mindset, a new movement. He calls it His Church and has declared, before even giving birth to it, that the gates of Hell will not overcome it (Mt 16:18).
I pray for the universal Church, the body of Christ, to be open and ready for this incredible plan. I pray for the blind to see the truth and act according to the times and according to the will of the Father.
God has shown me several years ago, how He is not interested in Han Solos or Jacobs. He is interested in people who lay their lives down, just as Israel did at Peniel, and the Son did when He surrendered to the womb of Mary, to the ministry of John the Baptist and to the Cross of Calvary. He was lifted up, so is His Church.
