A Lighthouse

Through the Holy Spirit, God has planted in us a seed of life, a source of light, deep in our spirit, to turn us from a lamp in the house into a lighthouse in the dark and stormy sea of the world.

Lord Jesus, I declare the light you instilled in us to shine bright in this world, according to the indwelling power and grace of your Holy Spirit. We place our lamps high above our heads and leave the rest to you...

"Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house." (Mt 5:15)
