No Excuses

Scars from the past hurt. For a believer in Christ and a born again son of God, scars and any affliction whether it be in the present or from the past cannot be an excuse to not step out with faith and claim our rightful heavenly inheritance. On the contrary, those things should be used to work in us a greater glory.

"Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory" (2 Corinthians 4:16-17)
