Immanuel

God the Son did not just take the form of a man. He became a real man, with a human mind, body, and soul. Through Jesus, God brought mankind in union with him, by surrendering to take on himself the very NATURE of man. Now, in our humanity, we have the possibility to encounter the life of God, through a link, once missing, now established through a great act of love, we call incarnation. This is such great news for every human being. Seek and knock on the door within, the door to God, the door which is not that far away, in fact, it is so near that it is right there in your very nature. The door is called Jesus, Immanuel, God with us! He is right there! He's so close, extending his hand to invite us to a life of union with Him.

Christ did not restore us back to the state of Adam before the fall. He brought us in perfect union with God in His flesh. This means that, as Christians, we are partakers of the divine nature by the grace of God, through the Holy Spirit, who dwells in us. This makes us and God inseparable. Our prayer life makes this truth evident in manifestations that people call miracles. That is why even if they kill us, we will live. Our identity and existence transcend the limitations of the natural world. By His grace, we are now 'by nature' sons of God!
