Every Morning

The secret to the victorious life is in the decision to live for God. To live to build, to advance, to raise up a generation. It is in the decision to do radical things in spite of all of the circumstances of life AND having as focus: to change the circumstances of not only one's own life but of an entire culture.

We wake up every morning with a decision lying before us. Every morning we face the choice to surrender to the flow or to ride the waves and stir the running wild horses of the current of life.

The demonic forces are at work. Nature is at work. Human beings, cultures, civilizations and kingdoms are at work. So is the Kingdom of God! The Kingdom of God is at hand. The Kingdom of God is among us. The Kingdom of God is a victorious and expanding Kingdom.

Every morning, we face the crucial decision to forgive and heal or stay upset. We face the decision to seek God for a plan and a strategy or surrender to the given situation. We face the decision to live for others, to build, to dream, to challenge, to believe, or to remain satisfied with whatever we have.

We can always pretend. But the Spirit of God cannot be tamed. The love of the Father can never remain silent and the Son is risen high above all principalities and powers. The Kingdom is among us and the Kingdom is victorious.

Just as God raises the sun and sends down rain on everyone, every morning, He has sent you forth to declare His excellencies, by works of charity and power.

We cannot remain silent. We have a duty. We have a calling. We have a boiling love in our spirit, craving for challenges, craving for difficult life circumstances, craving for orphans, poor people, starving people, deserted people, craving for enemies to love.

What will you choose to do this morning when you wake up?
