Power in Submission

There is great power in submission to God.

Upcoming Sunday we celebrate Jesus entering Jerusalem as King. This passage from the Bible portrays how our God is glorified in the submission and service of men, animals and nature. Prophecy becomes fulfilled by the obedience of the subjects of God. "He makes winds his messengers, flames of fire his servants."(Psalm 104:4)

Although humble and meek, He truly is greater... much greater than our minds can perceive.

Although only weak and short minded people, but in the glorified Son we have all prophecies revealed, all of the knowledge of God at our disposal. We have the mind that was in Christ Jesus, who being God by nature, humbled himself to become a servant like us, and even submitted himself to the death on the cross, and rose above every principality and power as the rightful King of the universe. (Phil 2:5-11)

"At first his disciples did not understand all this. Only after Jesus was glorified did they realize that these things had been written about him and that these things had been done to him." (John 12:16)
