Repentance doesn't have to be theatrical and dramatic. It's often very silently done, in a very private and personal way. It is most genuine when it is done so quickly that you can hardly put your finger on it, but know full well it's a done deal, because of the tangible and obvious change it brings to your life. The Christian life is a life of continuous repentance and change.
"But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you." (Matthew 6:6)
