Black and White

Today at a lebanese restaurant, when taking my 4 year old son to the toilet, he noticed the cleaning lady and asked me why is it that the cleaning people at restaurants are always dark skinned. I didn't know how to answer him. I just told him they come from a country where the population is dark skinned. 

Whether it be social inequality, poverty or racism, this reality is so painful. Thank you Lord Jesus for bringing us all into unity together. In You, there is no black and white, or male and female, right and left, arabs and israelis, armenian and turks. We are all one in Christ, who is the head of the entire body. Lord, teach us to love and accept others like You!
