Where I AM

Notice what Peter did when Jesus was about to wash his feet:
1st- He said "you shall never wash my feet." (inferiority)
2nd- When Jesus told him that unless he does it he will have no part with Him, Peter said: “not just my feet but my hands and my head as well!” (ambition)

Like Peter, we resort to these 2 extremes. We either put ourselves in the "unworthy servant" status or in the "God's favorite super servant" status.

The challenge is to accept our place in Christ. We are who we are ONLY by God's grace.

"In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also." (John 14:2-4)
