The Transforming Power of the Gospel

You were included in God when you were still an enemy of God. You might still be an enemy of God now, but that doesn't change the truth of God. The moment you accept what God did for you through Jesus, you will discover what has always been yours and experience a transformation from within. The main and only catalyst which enables this 'acceptance' from your part, is hearing of the preaching of the GOSPEL, or the good news, which can come in many shapes, forms and colors, but ultimately points to Christ and Him crucified!

THIS IS THE GOSPEL!
-When Jesus died, all died (2 Cor 5:14)
-When He rose from the dead, all rose from the dead (Rom 6:4)
-When He ascended to the right side of the Father, all of humanity rose with Him, and our lives are now hidden there! (Col 3:3)

"God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation" (2 Cor 5:19)

If we don't start with sincerity and honesty regarding our weaknesses, we will never allow the resurrection power inside of us to bring our weakness into submission and manifest over our circumstances and the circumstances of those around us.
These are the 2 ways we do not allow the Spirit of God to work in us and through us:
  1. pride, denial, indifference, fear in disguise
  2. effort-based life, when we try to exercise human/religious effort to produce faith or good works.
Our honest transparency will invite His power, His grace, His faith and His works.
