The Second Adam

• Adam was a gardener (plants trees)
• Jesus was a carpenter (makes stuff with dead trees because of the fall)
• Jesus died on a dead tree (to put an end to the curse of the fall)
• Jesus rose from the dead and was mistaken for a gardener by Mary, because He was the second Adam (who would restore all of creation)
