Prophet of this Generation

Every true prophet loves the new generation. They see and speak God's purposes into them. No true prophet will ever complain or speak negatively of the new generation. The new generation is a gift from God. If a prophet does rebuke, it is for the building up and driven by divine love. If you can't love them and if you can't nurture them, then you should step aside. Many want to see the new generation living like they did when they were in their age. That is selfishness. That is self-worship.

We have a generation handed over to us as clay in the hands of a potter. If you wish it was wood so that you can carve it, just because all you know what to do is carpentry. Learn pottery, my friend. You were created for these times. You are gifted for these times. Ask and you shall receive the fullness and multitude of gifts from our heavenly Father. You are given a special generation, a generation more apt to innocence than any one that preceded it.

In the beginning of this month, during a service, our pastor made a very important point regarding the way the Church is to operate. He stressed on the importance of the five fold ministry and the use of the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

I saw a dream two days earlier and it was about the spiritual warfare that we are involved in, and a discreet attack on my daughter was carried out by a lion behind my back, which was very swiftly spoiled as I caught the lion and handed him over to higher authorities.

I believe we are living in days where the use of the gifts and the importance of the five offices is put aside as a scheme from the enemy. Another point our pastor made was that the future generation is at stake if we stay indifferent.

Devotional prayer and training in the gifts should play a central role in our lives. Raising a new generation of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers is of the utmost importance for the calling of the Church and edification of the saints. The enemy will do anything to prevent us from preparing this generation.

The world will offer us fruit from the tree of knowledge. We need to feast on the fruit of the tree of life: Jesus, all day everyday! And recognize the enemy's schemes and rebuke him. Circumstances in life will try to corner us and make us feel resentment, anger and rejection, but Jesus is revealing an extravagant love. His love is being known among us in ways that never was in previous times. And this new revelation of His love is making the current generation much more able and equipped to fight the good fight.

That is who we are. That is who Christ is and what He does. He destroys the works of the devil! I have great faith in the new generation.

Many blame them for being too quick to get bored, too addicted to social media, too indifferent and demanding. I see them as an awesome gift to mankind. They are bored of all the old religious baggage. They are sharp and can outsmart all evil, confused and indifferent people. They are not ashamed to express their hunger and thirst. They have a special kind of innocence, that I cannot really describe, a simplicity that is not seen before.

They will serve God differently. They will be like the wheels in Ezekiel's vision, hosting the Spirit of God with boldness, courage and fire. I feel honored to have the opportunity to be a part of this. I feel so humbled and so thankful. We are making history...
