A Glimpse of Things to Come
I usually do not share such revelations, but I believe the Lord is cornering me to put these out there for all to see and hear. So here it goes...
On the 1st of September 2018, during prayers, the Lord revealed a lot of what is to come to the world. I would like to share it with you and would like to break it down into 3 parts as follows:
- Preaching of the Gospel
- New Advancements
- Ownership of Nations
Preaching of the Gospel
The Lord said, "Science has a lot to gain from the preaching of the Gospel". To be honest I was actually surprised that God is genuinely interested in the advancement of science on earth. Although I believe that science and human development on earth is in God's plan, I guess with the words of the Lord we also get a glimpse of his heart and interest and that always surprises us, as it exceeds our imaginations.
So what that word implies is that the Church has a major role to play in the advancement of science and several areas of society. I have discussed the importance of the Gospel and the nature of the Gospel in many previous posts (The Gospel & The Church). In short and as the Apostle Paul puts it in so many of his letters, the Gospel is not the product of human intellect but is the very power of God. He emphasizes so many times on the centrality, singularity and the sufficiency of preaching solely the Gospel, as a message that needs no supplements and has the power to produce all that's in God's will.
What we see nowadays in the Church is a lot of preaching of messages and only sometimes we see the preaching of the Gospel, mainly during evangelistic events. The Lord expects a return to the centrality of the preaching of the Gospel in the life of the Church because only through it can we truly see fruits pleasing to God, mainly faith and heaven on earth.
New Advancements
What the Lord showed me regarding how the preaching of the Gospel would impact society as a whole was truly remarkable. It wasn't really in detail but it contained so much detail compressed in the revelation. I received the impression of the future reality of advancement in many areas of life. I saw how the medical field will enjoy breakthroughs and the result will be the establishment of new types of medical institutions. Hospitals, as we know them now, will be irrelevant as science will advance and the establishment of health institutions addressing human health from so many different aspects will be established. Likewise, schools and the formation or education of people will be done in a more holistic way worldwide and the current education system or approach will fade away. The same types of breakthroughs will be made in many other areas like science, space exploration, law, government, etc... All these thanks to the preaching of the Gospel!
I do not know exactly how but through the preaching of the gospel God's ideas and gifts will be implemented on earth, through our participation of course. Such an exciting phenomenon it will be! I realized then that that's how it must have been when Christianity originally emerged and breakthroughs in these fields were done in the past.
Ownership of Nations
I then saw a man of God coming from the northern parts of South America. It wasn't very clear to me but it may have been from Venezuela or Brazil? (I had received similar revelations previously too) He will be like a new model for all men of God or the Church in the sense that he will take ownership of the nations and not just his. In no way does this mean that he will be greater than the model portrayed by Jesus. But in the modern times, we've just begun to see evangelists and revivalists taking the Gospel from continent to continent taking on the responsibility of not just delivering a message but of taking ownership of the nations; adopting them, fathering them and sacrificing their lives for them.
I found myself declaring on many nations who have never come to Christ on a national level. I believe many will experience nationwide revivals and many will be transformed by the love of God.
I believe that God will give us wisdom on how to carry out our missions and live out our callings in the years to come. I have said this before and I'll keep on saying it. We are living in very exciting times. I feel how eager the Lord is to get the Church to cross into the age to come and manifest His glory on earth on a whole different level. The advancement of society and the formation of communities and the building of nations is of utmost importance for this to occur. New wine will be wasted without new wineskins.
