Refined by Fire

Many mistakenly think that God is not for them but is against them. And others presume that rejecting God has no negative consequences. The Bible says that “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” (Hebrews‬ ‭10:31)

The good news is that God’s goodness and grace give us the necessary power and endurance to persevere through trials by His Spirit who dwells within us. So let us hold on to His promises and press in by the faith which is given us freely.

Let us allow His fire to purify us and prepare us for glory, rather than escaping His fire in this life and getting burnt later. God bless you.

"This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed." (1 Peter 1:4-7)
