The Triumphant Man

Through His incarnation, He reclaimed ownership of man. The Eternal Word that had declared to make man in the likeness and image of the Triune God, became man and set camp among men.

Baptized by the Holy Spirit, Jesus went into the wilderness to purge the very will and obedience of the fallen nature of mankind.

Baptized by His own innocent blood, Jesus went down to hades to take His victory into the enemy’s camp. He humiliated Satan in his own home. He purged hades and set captives free.

By His resurrection, He recreated man from the ashes of death.

By His ascension, He placed man above every authority and power to rule and reign with Him forever.

This is our inheritance. This is our current state and the truth. The Apostle Paul says: “If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.” (Colossians 3:1-4)
