Speaking in Tongues

Back in 2006, I spent a whole year pressing in daily, day and night and even during my lunch breaks, praying to receive the gift of speaking in tongues. Some received it instantly, but not me. One thing I was sure of, was that I and my overthinking was the problem and that tongues would deliver me from that very obstacle, and help me to be led by the Spirit. I never thought that the problem was from God’s side, or doubted thinking that it might not be for me. And I never justified myself by twisting what the scriptures say. That helped me to persevere and eventually enjoy breakthrough. That’s why I speak in tongues all the time. I know I need it desperately in my Christian walk.
