The Church & Judgement

Truth is a person (John 14:16). We come to know Him not only by His Word, but also by His Spirit, who dwells in us and with whom we are one (1 Cor 6:17). There is no confusion or duality in Him, thus there shouldn't be any confusion or duality in us. The truth is sharper than any double-edged sword piercing, dividing and judging ALL things, especially hidden matters of the heart (Hebrews 4:12).

The misconception that there are some matters that somehow God has nothing to say about is not biblical at all! We may not be ready to accept what He has to say, but that doesn’t mean He hasn’t made up His mind. And it definitely doesn't mean that He wants us to stay that way. Somehow there's a misconception that staying immature is the only way to love people as they are, without judging them. That's a lie from the devil. Which father would like his children to stay immature? And which father would trust his children with authority and power to love when they are immature? God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son. (John 3:16)

The Church is called to judge, starting from those inside the Church (1 Cor 5:12) to the entire world (1 Cor 6:2) and even angels (1 Cor 6:3).

I understand that many have abused their power, twisted God's Word, and manipulated people for their own personal gain. That is definitely to be condemned. However, that doesn't mean that sound judgment is to be put away with as well.

The present world is in desperate need of truth and of people who correctly handle the Word of Truth (2 Tim 2:15). That is the Church. That cannot be found elsewhere. No other person or group of people or organization has union with the Truth on earth. Tribunals and judiciary systems may fail, but the Word of Truth will remain. My prayer is that we obey the Lord and use our time wisely to be trained in the ways of God, to learn discernment, to learn to love correction, and accept God's fatherly love that way, so that we can truly become mature sons of God. Because, the entire creation is groaning in expectation of our revealing! (Rom 8:19-22)

God bless you.
