Daring Faith

Believers walk and live according to what they believe. Otherwise, they are not believers. You cannot tell a person what to believe and expect that person to become a believer once he or she follows your instructions.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for (Hebrews 11:1). Your mind cannot produce substance!

Faith comes by hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17). Unless the Gospel is preached, faith will not arise in men. The gospel is the supernatural weapon given to men to proclaim (Romans 1:16). This weapon makes the faith of God to arise in man. Later on, each is expected to act on that faith. It is impossible to please God without faith (Hebrews 11:6).

The reason why some are believers and others are scoffers is the simple fact that some have responded to the gospel and others were too scared to, probably because they were too arrogant to (Acts 13:41). The gospel, my friends, will eventually produce fruit in you! (Matthew 13:23)

Scoffers can mock you as you move by faith. But when the fruit comes, there is no denying it!

Let us not shy away by fear and intimidation, which are things defeated on the cross. We have the victory to go from glory to glory, to radiate the love and beauty of Jesus in a dark and helpless world. God bless you as you move by faith led by the Word and Spirit of God.
