Wind of Inspiration

"But God remembered Noah and all the beasts and all the livestock that were with him in the ark. And God made a wind blow over the earth, and the waters subsided." (Genesis 8:1)

There is something of a wonder in the act or reality of remembering. The point here is not of remembering someone forgotten, but the point is one of inspiration, longing, dwelling on, meditating, adoring, which leads to a yearning to bless, to fill, to make a way to create something new, to give life and abundance.

Throughout the Bible, the words wind, spirit, angels, and servants of God are used interchangeably to express the nature of God's work in creation, which stems from His very being. The Triune God's reality is one of relationship and a dynamic of eternal remembrance between the Father and the Son manifested through the Holy Spirit.

As we set our minds on this reality, we will be captured by the dynamic of this eternal and divine truth. We will be raptured by a 'wind' sent to take us above the waters and storms of this world, into the beautiful place of relationship, a relationship unlike no other, a pure and eternal relationship between the Father and the Son in the Holy Spirit.

That, my friends, is called inspiration and has the power to create, as it is originated by God for the purpose of enabling man to do His perfect and holy will on earth, as it is in Heaven.

God bless you, as you turn your 'face' to the heavens, expecting the Father's intervention through the new and living way of the Son by the Spirit.
