The Poison And The Antidote

“But the unbelieving Jews stirred up the Gentiles and poisoned their minds against the brethren. Therefore they stayed there a long time, speaking boldly in the Lord, who was bearing witness to the word of His grace, granting signs and wonders to be done by their hands.” (Acts‬ ‭14:2-3‬)

Unbelief is not a passive state. It is an active offense, with a plan, a strategy, an objective. In today’s world, the masses are stirred by a little voice on the media, a voice claiming to protect their rights and their freedom. The masses gather around such little voices to overthrow and crucify the real Savior, the real Church, their true freedom and their true inheritance. Poisoning minds is what demons still do today. Unbelief, my friends, is demonic.

But, there is another sound in the world today, another sound much stronger and much more authentic than the sound of unbelief. It is the sound of the resurrection, the sound of the Gospel that’s proclaimed boldly and demonstrated through real signs and wonders.

The beautiful thing about the Gospel is that it “stays there a long time”, patiently doing the work of love, restoring minds, restoring bodies, restoring lives, restoring the faith that brings men back into true freedom, true power, true joy, and life everlasting, outside the alternate fake reality of this world, back into the beautiful garden of Eden, back in fellowship with God, face to face with our beautiful Savior...
